Healthy Living Workshop

Make 2018 YOUR year! Start the New Year off right by joining us for a 4 week Healthy Living Workshop. We will get together once a week for accountability and support. You will also have access to a Facebook support group. We will discuss intention/goal setting, clean eating, mindfulness and practical health tips to set the tone for the New Year and guide you to become the most healthy version of yourself!!

 

Two 4 week sessions to choose from  :

Sundays 10:00am- 10:30am  (January 8-29, 2018)

Why so many sweaty people are smiling ear to ear after what seems like a tough workout.   What's With the Loud Music?   Are All Spin Classes the Same? Did you want to try a class, but were not sure you could do it.  Come join the "Intro to Spin" class and let David Santiago (20 year advocate) take the mystery out of Spinning as it has grown into one of the largest fitness sensations around the globe. Class Includes: Quick History of Spin Popular Spin Class Terms & What They Mean What Should My Goal Be On The Bike? Do I Need Special Shoes For Spin Class? How To Adjust The Bike? Safety Tips. Hand and body positions on the bike. Basic Spin Moves. (30 minute ride)

Either way this two day teacher training is where you want to be! 

You will learn class structure, proper form and the importance of alignment, how to create the perfect playlist, how to be a safe and FUN teacher and so much more!

During this class, Garrett will show you how to use visualization to reduce stress, combat fear, and empower you toward future successes. Experience guided visualization for yourself and learn how to use this tool as part of your yoga and meditation practice. 

This is a two day workshop meeting on Sunday January 7th and 14th, 2018 from 2:00pm-2:30pm.

Ever wondered " what IS yoga?"? Nervous to go to your first class and not know what to expect? This workshop is for you! An hour and half long class that will show you all the ropes of a yoga class. From what to expect in a class, how to use props to basic active AND restorative poses. There's even time for questions after. Take all the mystery out of yoga and leave prepared to launch into your newfound yoga practice!
